Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday reported highest-single day COVID-19 deaths so far. As many as 14 COVID-19 positive patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 470.
As per the Health and Family Welfare Department, two COVID-19 deaths each were reported from Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Malkangiri while one death each reported from Bargarh, Jajpur, Puri and Sundergarh.

Apart from the COVID-19 deaths, Odisha also reported 3252 new cases in the last 24 hours. It is for the fourth day in a row that the State reported 3000-plus COVID-19 cases in a single-day.

As per the I &PR department, Khordha district reported highest 762 COVID-19 cases followed by Rayagada (450), Cuttack (323), Ganjam (169), Bargarh (146), Mayurbhanj (123), Sundergarh (94) and Dhenkanal (94).
