Bhubaneswar: A total of 1460 COVID-19 patients recuperated from the disease on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries in Odisha to 2,83,533.

As per the information provided by state Health and Family Welfare Department, Khordha recorded the maximum number of recoveries (169), while 110 recovered in Balasore.

Similarly, Cuttack, Sundergarh and Jagatsinghpur registered 107, 97, 93 recoveries respectively. 90 patients recovered from Keonjhar, 84 from Angul, 67 from Bolangir, 60 each from fromMayurbhanj and Nuapada.

The total case load in the state has now reduced to 12310.

Earlier in the day, the Health Department informed that at least 14 patients undergoing treatment at several hospitals had succumbed to the infection pushing the Covid-19 death toll to 1378.

Similarly, as many as 1385 persons were tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative cases to 297274.
