Bhubaneswar: The smart city of Bhubaneswar on Saturday reported 182 new cases of novel-Coronavirus infection, taking the total COVID-19 tally to 28,481.

Of the 182 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours, 44 are quarantine and 138 are local contact cases.

As per Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the total number of COVID-19 active cases now stand at 2415 while 25,895 persons have recovered from virus infections in the city. The COVID-19 death toll in Bhubaneswar stands at 150.

It is for the second time in a row that the daily caseload reported from the city has come down below the 200-mark. Earlier on Friday, 189 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the city.
