Commissionerate Police summons lady involved in face-off with home guard

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Wednesday has summoned a lady and her associate in connection with their face-off with a police home guard on Tuesday.

According to sources, the summoned lady and her associate were stopped by the home gurard for violation of traffic rules in front of the Ramadevi Womens' University in Saheed Nagar yesterday.

However, alleging misbehavior, the lady had grabbed the collar of the home guard and manhandled him in public view.

Recently, a similar incident was reported after the daughter of a high ranked Odisha police official alleged that she was slapped by a lady traffic constable at AG Square in Bhubaneswar.
