Cold wave grips several parts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar/Kandhamal: Cold wave conditions swept several parts of Odisha on Sunday with minimum temperature dropping below the normal temperature in the interior parts of Kandhamal district.

Normal life in Baliguda town of the district was reportedly affected due to dense fog. Besides, a thick blanket of fog enveloped other parts of the district reducing visibility considerably.

People were seen putting on their warm cloths while some others were seen huddling around bonfires seeking relief from the cold.

Massive drop in temperature was also witnessed in several places like Tumudibandha, Belghar and Kotagarh in the district.
