Cobra Stuck Inside Washroom Pipe At Bhubaneswar Airport Rescued

Bhubaneswar: The Snake helpline has rescued a cobra got stuck inside a pipe in the washroom at Biju Patnaik International Airport here today.

The snake entered the washroom through an open pipe last night and got stuck inside it.

The airport authorities called the Snake helpline secretary Suvendu Mallik who immediately rushed to the spot and tried to rescue the snake.

However, the snake went into the pipe giving a tough time to the Snakeman to get it out of the pipe. Mallik poured phenyl, acid and petrol into the pipe to capture, but in vein.

Later, fire brigade vehicle of the airport shot high-velocity stream of water through water canon into the pipe, which forced the reptile to come outside the pipe.

The Snakeman immediately captured the reptile and kept it inside a bag before releasing it into a nearest forest.
