CHSE Plus-II Arts, Commerce results to be declared on June 9

Bhubaneswar: The results of Plus II Arts and Commerce examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will be declared on June 9, informed CHSE officials on Thursday.

School & Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra had yesterday indicated that the results would be announced by this week end.

The minister had also admitted that the publication of the results was slightly delayed due to disruptions during evaluation of answer sheets following teachers’ agitation this year.  However, the results of plus II science were declared as per schedule on May 19 while the overall pass percentage in Science stream stood at 76.98 percent this year.

A total of 3, 80,707 students of 1,504 colleges had appeared for the CHSE plus II examinations which were held between March 6 and March 29. The practical exams were held from January 29 to February 8.

The Plus-II annual examinations were conducted in as many as 1,106 centres across the State.
