Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha declared the results of 2019 Annual Plus II Arts, Commerce and Vocational courses today. While the total pass percentage in Arts stream is 65.89 %, commerce this year registered a pass percentage of 70.26%.

A total of 2,31,150 students had appeared the annual exam in Arts stream. Out of this 1,52,323 students cleared the exam, 57,442 were boys and 94,881 girls. As per reports, 18,773 students have passed in first division, 22,944 cleared the exam with second division while 1,10,451 students secured third division marks.

This year, Balasore district recorded the highest pass percentage of 75.67, while Nabarangpur district witnessed the lowest, recording a pass percentage of 47.46. Two colleges in Odisha have recorded NIL results in Arts.

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash made an official announcement about the declaration of results at 3.30 PM. Students who have appeared the examinations under the respective streams can check their score cards by visiting the official website www.chseodisha.nic.in.

Out of the total 26,794 students, who had written their exams in Commerce stream, as many as 18, 826 students including 11,738 boys and 7,088 girls passed. The total pass percentage stood at 70.26%.against the overall pass percentage of 74. 91 % in 2018.

This time, 5,629 students  passed in first division, 3,746 students in second division and 9,422 students in third division in Commerce stream. Khurda district recorded the highest pass percentage of 88.89, while Deogarh district recorded lowest pass percentage of 24.34. Four colleges recorded NIL results in Commerce stream.

Only three students scored 90 % above marks in +2  Arts stream this year. Shibani Priyadarshini Patra of Shailabala Women's Junior College is this year's topper in Arts while Puja Sahu and Lipsarani Sahu of Ravenshaw Junior College are joint toppers.

In Commerce stream, 31 students in Odisha scored 90 % above marks. While Laxmi Agarwal of Keonjhar junior college topped the +2 exam in Commerce, Rinki Ray of Kesinga college and Visakha Gupta of Ravenshaw Junior College have been placed in second and third position, respectively.

CHSE had conducted the annual examinations of all the streams between March 7 and March 30.

(b) Click the link showing class 12 results
(c) Enter all necessary details including roll number, date of birth
(d) Enter submit and save the results or print out the score card

Earlier on June 3, the CHSE had announced the results of the Science stream with students recording pass percentage of 72.33. While nine colleges had registered nil results, as many as 29 colleges recorded 100 per cent results this time.
