Bhubaneswar: The results of Plus II Arts and Commerce examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will be declared by June 8 or 9.

While School & Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra said the results will be out by June 9, it could get published on June 8 as June 9 is the second Saturday of the month which is a holiday.

"The tentative date of the publication of results is June 9. As it falls on a second Saturday, some problems may arise, so if possible the results will be declared on June 8," said Patra.

The minister accepted various disruptions during the examinations this year, starting from management to evaluation of answer sheets due to agitation of teachers.

However, malpractice was checked during the examinations and the evaluation process was completed successfully, he informed.

The results of Plus II Science examination were declared by CHSE Odisha on May 19.

This year the Plus-II annual examinations were held in as many as 1,106 centres across the State.

A total of 3, 80,707 students of 1,504 colleges had appeared for the examinations which were held between March 6 and March 29 while the practical exams were held from January 29 to February 8.
