Bhubaneswar: The agitation of the Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha (CESU) staff under the banner of Odisha State Electricity Board (OSEB) Ministerial Employees Union near IDCO Tower in Bhubaneswar entered its fifth day on Tuesday.
As per sources, the employees have been demanding a hike in grade pay from Rs 2530 to Rs 2830.
The agitators have threatened to intensify the agitation if their demands are not met immediately.
"It has been five days that the clerks of CESU are staging dharna here but the management is still not concerned. We will continue relay hunger strike till our demands are not met," said general secretary of OSEB Ministerial Employees Union, Prabhat Kumar.
