Central Excise Assistant Commissioner Found Hanging In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The body of an Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise Department was found hanging in his residence at Baramunda Housing Board Colony in Bhubaneswar today.

The deceased officer, Arjun Kumar Dhal was due to retire from service in the next 6-7 months.

Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, it is suspected that Dhal committed suicide as he was reportedly down with depression for the past few months.

Meanwhile, police have reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

As per reports, the family members of Dhal were not in the home last night when the incident happened.
