Cash For Odisha MLA’s Bike Rally Caught On Camera

Kendrapara: A controversy erupted on Saturday after alleged distribution of cash to the participants of a motorcycle rally of a MLA in Kendrapara district of Odisha came to light.

The money was reportedly distributed to people to take part in the motorcycle rally of BJD MLA from Rajnagar constituency, Dhruba Charan Sahoo.

In a video clip, the legislator’s supporter was seen holding a bundle of cash and distributing Rs 100 each to some people. The act was not carried out clandestinely, but openly in the middle of the road.

According to sources, the cash was distributed during a mega rally held by the legislator recently.

Sahoo took out the bike rally covering Damarpur, Srirampur and Balabhadrapur panchayat in his constituency and laid foundation stones for three projects worth Rs 20 crore.

The response of the MLA on the allegations could not be obtained.
