Card Game Turns Fatal! Man Bludgeoned To Death By Minor In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: In a macabre act, a minor boy allegedly bludgeoned a man to death with a stone pestle following a quarrel while playing cards in Bhadrak district on Sunday.

The incident occurred at Dolasahi village under Tihidi police limits in the district. The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Khuntia.

According to reports, an altercation broke out between Khuntia and the minor boy during a card game. The fight took an ugly turn when the minor boy, in a fit of rage, threw a stone pestle at Khuntia. He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

Soon after the incident, the accused fled the spot, sources said.

Upon being informed about the incident, Tihidi police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Further investigation into the matter is on, the police said.
