BSF Jawan Shoots Self To Death In Odisha

Koraput: A Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan died by suicide after he allegedly shot himself on his head from his service rifle on Saturday in the district.

The deceased jawan, identified as Indra Singh, was posted with the BSF (15 Battalion) at Jalaput in Koraput district.

Sources said that Singh had reported on work yesterday after returning from his hometown in Rajasthan where he had gone on a vacation.

Though the exact reason behind the jawan’s suicide is not clear as of now, a probe has been initiated into the matter.
