BSE OTET 2021: Registration For Odisha Teachers' Recruitment Test Begins, Check Eligibility & How To Apply

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has invited online applications from interested and eligible candidates for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), 2021.

Candidates can register to appear the test through the official website of BSE (www.bseodisha.ac.in) till 8 March 2021 (11.45 PM).

The selected candidates will be appointed as teachers for Class I to VIII in government, private aided, private unaided schools across Odisha.

How To Apply For BSE OTET 2021

Step 1: Visit the official website of BSE (www.bseodisha.ac.in/otet-examinations-2021.html)

Step 2: Click on the 'OTET 2021 (1ST) APPLICATION LINK'

Step 3: A new page will open. Two separate tabs will be seen-- "New Registration for paper 1" & "New Registration for paper 2". Choose the paper you wish to appear for.

Step 4: Fill the OTET 2021 registration details with your credentials such as name, password, email address and mobile number.

Step 5: Click on the submit button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click verify.

Step 6: Once verified, you will be redirected to the OTET application form page.

Step 7: Fill in your personal, academic, professional information along with required academic records and scanned photographs. Click on the “information sheet” section to verify all the filled details. You will not be able to edit your application form once submitted.

Step 8: Make the payment through ONLINE mode.

BSE Odisha OTET 2021 Examination Pattern

There shall be two papers of the OTET viz- Paper-I and Paper-II. The total duration of the test in each paper shall be two and half hours. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct. The question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.

Following languages shall be offered in Language – I: Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali. The candidate has to choose any one of the above languages for Language-I subject whereas Language-II subject shall be English for all candidates. There shall be no negative marking.
