Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has served notice to 11 persons in connection with Brahma Parivartan fiasco case in 2015 based on the report by then Chief Administrator.

After a review, the notice was issued by the sub-committee to 10 Daitapatis and 1 Maharana servitor for delaying rituals of the holy trinity.

During the sacred Nabakalebara rituals at Puri Srimandir in 2015, Daitapati servitors had allegedly delayed the process due to in-fighting among them.

Earlier this year, SJTA had announced that the report on the Brahma Parivartan Fiasco will not be made public even through RTI queries following which the Opposition had launched scathing attacks on the ruling-BJD government over the decision.

BJP had termed the move as ‘unconstitutional’ and a ‘violation of basic human rights’.
