Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) on Friday announced to offer a second change to students to clear their papers if they could not pass the examinations.

“If a regular student appeared this exit opportunity final semester online examination 2019-20 in a theory subject (s) and could not pass for whatsoever the reason, he/she will be allowed to re-appear the examination in the offline mode as a regular subject once the colleges are re-opened and normalcy restored,” said Deepak Kumar Sahoo, Director (Examinations), BPUT.

Earlier, the BPUT authorities had postponed the online final semester examinations till July 31 in the wake of lockdown.

“It is for the information of all concerned that the Online Exit Opportunity Final Semester Theory Open Book (Innovative & Outcome Based Education) Examinations: 2019-20 for MBA, B.Pharm, B.Tech, M.Sc (Integrated) and MBA (PT) courses are hereby postponed till 31st July, 2020 on account of lockdown in entire jurisdiction of Khurda, Ganjam, Cuttack, Jajpur districts and Rourkela Municipal Corporation,” a notice of the BPUT said.
