Puri: In yet another incident of post- poll violence in Odisha, at least five persons were injured after bombs were hurled following a clash between two groups at Bhatapada village in Brahmagiri area of Puri district on Sunday.
According to sources, the two groups entered into a verbal duel soon after the declaration of the poll results. Later, a clash broke out between the groups with bombs being hurled by either side today.
Five persons who sustained critical injuries in the bombing have been admitted to hospital.
On being informed, Puri Sadar police reached the village and efforts are now on to restore normalcy in the area.
