Nuapada: Protesting unscheduled power cuts and poor mobile network, youths of Sinapali in Nuapada district today called for an indefinite bandh throwing normal life out of gear.

Vehicular movement in the town was disrupted after angry activists staged a road blockade at the Sinapali Square. The Sinapali town has remained cut off from Khadial, Boden, Dharmagarh and Chhattisgarh due to road blockades, informed sources.

Besides Government offices and private organizations, shops and other business establishments too remained shut under impact of the bandh.

The protestors alleged that people in the district have been facing numerous difficulties due to undeclared power cuts and poor network of private telecom operators for the past few months.

“We will intensify our stir if the issues are not resolved at the earliest,” said one of the protestors.
