Youth killed, 2 others injured in Khurda over past enmity

Khurda: A youth was hacked to death while two other members of his family were injured in an attack by unidentified miscreants at Sandhapur near Jatni last night.The deceased has been identified as Anup Behera.

It is suspected that Anup was allegedly killed by his neighbours over some past dispute. However, the exact reason behind the murder is still unclear.

According to reports, Anup’s family was attacked late on Saturday night while his two brothers and mother have also been critically injured in the incident.

All the three injured have been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital and their condition is still critical.

Jatni police have reached the spot and started preliminary investigation into the incident.
