Youth injured in firing in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: An employee of a private hospital in Khandagiri area of Bhubaneswar was injured after unidentified miscreants shot him late Friday night.

As per sources, five miscreants arrived in a car, fired few rounds at the youth and fled the spot. The injured employee has been admitted at a city based private hospital.  Though it is suspected that the firing could be the fallout of some past rivalry, police have begun investigation into the incident.

Tension prevailed after relatives of the injured youth gheraoed Khandagiri police station demanding immediate arrest of the accused. They withdrew the agitation after police assured them to nab the miscreants involved in the incident.
