Youth arrested for molesting two minor siblings

Jajpur: District police on Friday arrested a youth for allegedly luring and molesting two minor girls in his house at Panikoili area in the district.

The accused identified as Mina Panda enticed both siblings to his house and assaulted them.Following the incident, the victims complained about the matter to their mother and subsequently their family filed a written complaint at the local police station.

“From preliminary investigations we have found that the culprit had intentionally tried to molest the girls and basing on that we have arrested him. The two girls have also been sent to Jajpur town medical for their health examination,” Sarat Chandra Panda, IIC Panikoili told media persons.
