Youth arrested for attacking Tehsildar

Puri: A youth was arrested today for allegedly attacking Janmejay Sahu, Tehsildar of Astaranga in Puri.

According to reports, the incident took place yesterday when the Tehsildar was returning from Astaranga on his vehicle. While Sahu was on his way he was chased by some youths after his vehicle overtook them.

In Konark, Sahu was intercepted by the youths who manhandled the Tehsildar and his driver.

Soon after the incident, Sahu lodged a complaint in Konark Police Station. While one of the youth has been arrested, four other accused are still absconding.
