Bhubaneswar: Young volunteers wishing to bring a change in the world gathered at the Bakul Foundation here to be inspired and also to share their experiences and stories of inspiration during the third edition of the Yuva Mini Con, an initiative by Mu Volunteer.
The conference saw achievers from various fields including co-founder of Mindtree and Chairman of Odisha Skill Development Centre, Subroto Bagchi. Well known actor turned politician Akash Dasnayak, young sarpanch Arti Devi and former sarpanch Padma Lochan Pradhan and activist Linkan Subudhi also interacted with the youth at the event.
“It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm in the youth to get involved in social activism and volunteer to bring change,” said Bagchi.
The youths also loved the experience.
“Hearing about the stories of success in bringing social change from such prominent people who had also faced many difficulties and struggled in various ways was very moving and inspiring,” said a young volunteer.
Bagchi has also tweeted his experience of interacting with the volunteers.
