Young couple ends life; failed love affair suspected

Balasore: A young couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance due to a suspected failed love affair here on Tuesday. Their identity has not yet been ascertained.

Locals spotted them lying in a critical condition near Haladipada railway station in the district. They rushed the duo to district headquarters hospital by '108' ambulance. However, both died while undergoing treatment.

Police reached the spot after being informed by the hospital authorities and registered a case in this connection.  The exact reason can be known only after post-mortem, police said.
