Bhubaneswar:  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s position and elevation within the saffron party was clearly visible at the BJP’s National Executive Meet that began at Bhubaneswar here on Saturday.

Adityanath’s life-size posters of swearing-in ceremony were pasted right opposite the main dais which carried the photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders at Janata Maidan here.

The five-term MP from Gorakhpur certainly has created a buzz here as the posters of several prominent leaders of BJP were installed outside the Janata Maidan and many other newly elected .

Irrespective of whether the yogi's posters in large sizes were intentional or not, he has certainly emerged as the new poster boy of the saffron brigade in comparison to the other heavy weights.

In fact, the BJP National Executive Meet initially planned to be held at Lucknow given the massive victory the party got in UP elections, was later on rescheduled at Bhubaneswar keeping 2019 elections in mind.

However, his meteoric rise in the political scene now is being considered an example in any of the party's function. Moreso, when the BJP is eyeing Odisha as its 2019 lab choosing leaders and connecting with the grassroots.
