Bhubaneswar: A yoga university will come up in the State within one year, said yoga guru and Patanjali Group founder Baba Ramdev here today.

After reaching the Biju Patnaik International Airport, Ramdev stated Patanjali will make efforts to introduce yoga in school curriculum as well after holding a discussion with the State government.

Profit garnered out of Patanjali’s operation in the State will be invested to improve education sector in the State, Ramdev added.

Replying to a media query, the yoga guru said he would suggest both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik work in tandem for the larger benefit of people.

Taking a jibe at Baba Ramdev, minister Damodar Rout said he should quit yoga and join politics.

Ramdev has arrived in Bhubaneswar to attend a convention of Patanjali distributors.

Patanjali Group has a total of 100 stores and aarogya kendras located in different districts across the State.

The stores and kendras offer a range of items ranging from natural food products, natural healthcare and personal care to ayurvedic medicines and herbal homecare products.
