Bhubaneswar: A team from World Bank has arrived in Odisha to review the energy-efficient street lighting project and cyclone risk mitigation project in State. The team comprises 14 executive directors of World Bank.

According to sources, the team will visit various places in the state including Gopalpur and Chilika. Prior to the vist, the team held discussions with senior officials of various concerned departments.

The team will meet the Chief Minister and the chief secretary tomorrow.

“There was a discussion with the World Bank executive directors on the street lighting project. They are happy with the street light system being implemented in Bhubaneswar,” said special secretary of the Housing and Urban Development department SK Rath.
