Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: In the face of rising speculations about bickerings in the party over war of words in social media, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Monday,  cleared the air stating there is no difference among his MPs. Patnaik spoke after meeting the party MPs in New Delhi.

“I don’t see any discord in parliamentary party, either in Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha,” said Patnaik to newsmen when asked about the differences that cropped up between senior MPs few days ago. The CM who is on a five-day New Delhi tour, was addressing media after holding a meeting with the party MPs at Sansad Bhawan in New Delhi.

The parliamentarians who attended the meeting said, Patnaik too urged the members not to discuss party matters on social media, rather raise it in a proper forum.

The CM’s meeting with the MPs bears significance after a battle of tweets between Kendrapara MP Baijayant Jay Panda and Tathagat Satapathy ensued some days back. Besides, BJP leader and Union minister Jual Oram’s remarks that BJD members are trying to join BJP had sparked off speculations on shifting of loyalty by members in BJD.

Party insiders said, the CM has asked them to desist from making public comments about party's internal matters.
