As per sources, the woman travelling in Konark Express, arrived at the railway station from Visakhapatnam yesterday when one Rabi Nayak along with two other robbers, taking advantage of her being absent-minded, looted all her belongings including the gold ornaments and fled the spot.

The woman, who is reportedly getting married here on Sunday, lodged a complaint with the Government Railway Police (GRP) following which a special task force of the RPF swung into action and managed to nab one of the accused. The other two robbers involved in the loot are absconding, sources added.
