Woman, daughter die in wall collapse

G.Udayagiri: In a tragic incident, a woman and her daughter were killed due to collapse of a wall of a water tank in the wee hours today at Telimunda Sahi of Tumudibandha village.

The deceased identified as Bharati Dalapati and Jangyaseni were washing dishes near the water tank which was when the wall collapsed leading to the deaths on the spot.

A pall of gloom descended in the area following the incident.

Local police officials reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
