Woman commits suicide over family quarrel

Mayurbhanj: A trivial family quarrel ended up in a tragedy after a woman committed suicide by consuming poison in Asanabani village under Bisoi police limits of the district on Sunday.

According to sources, the woman, Sanu Murmu allegedly consumed pesticides after a quarrel with her family over a dispute.

Critical, she was rushed to the Rairangpur hospital where she succumbed while undergoing treatment.

On getting information, police reached the spot and started investigation into the incident. "A case of unnatural death has been registered. Further investigation is on," said a police official.
