Woman accuses hubby of ‘infidelity’, seeks justice

Cuttack:  A woman of Cuttack district has brought serious allegation against her husband of having ‘extra marital affair’ with several women.

The woman, who also alleged torture by her in-laws, on Friday sat on a dharna along with her children in front of her in-laws' house at Srikoruan Gurubari Sahi under Sadar police limits seeking justice.

Sabita had tied nuptial knot with one Jyoti Prasad Mohanty of Jagatsinghpur district in 2005. Theirs was a love marriage.  Though Sabita’s parents had given money to Jyoti to purchase a land at the time of their marriage, she was allegedly ostracized by her in-laws in subsequent phases.

She alleged that her husband has physical relationship with multiple women and she has video clips as evidence.

Though Sabita had brought the matter to the notice of Mahila police, no action was taken basing on her complaint.  Despite several attempts, the woman's husband and her in-laws could not be contacted for their version on the allegations.
