Wedding gift blast case to be solved soon: Odisha DGP

Cuttack: The special investigation team (SIT) of Crime Branch will crack the Patnagarh parcel bomb explosion case soon, informed Odisha DGP, RP Sharma today.

Talking to media persons in connection with the case, Sharma said Crime Branch IG Arun Bothra is personally monitoring the case.

"Crime Branch officials including IG Arun Bothra is camping at Patnagarh for investigation of the parcel bomb case and are checking each and every dimension. We hope working on the leads they have found till date will be helpful to solve the case," said Sharma.

Earlier on April 12, Reema Sahu, the lone survivor in the parcel bomb explosion, in which two persons including her husband Soumyasekhar was killed, was discharged from SCB Medical College and Hospital.

She expressed displeasure over the ongoing investigation citing that the ‘culprits’ are still moving scot-free and demanded arrest of the courier company officials which accepted, despatched and delivered the killer parcel.
