Water logging at Keonjhar hospital gives cold feet to patients

Keonjhar: Water logging at the wards and entrance of the district headquarters hospital here after a brief spell of rain on Wednesday is causing patients and attendants to suffer.

With the flood like situation in the hospital due to the knee deep water in wards and OPDs, patients are finding it difficult to enter the hospital to get admitted. Besides, those who were already undergoing treatment at the hospital had to go through a harrowing experience.

Documents and files at the hospital are completely damaged due to the water logging. Hospital bed, chairs and other furniture are still submerged. The hospital services have been affected badly since yesterday.

Blocked drainage and sewerage outlets have increased the difficulties for the hospital authorities to release the water logged in the hospital.
