Wall collapse costs life of minor in Angul

Angul: A child was killed and his father critically injured after a wall of the house they were sleeping in collapsed in JungleJhamunda village under Nisa police limits here in the district on Friday night.

According to reports, Dusasana Behera and his family were sleeping in the house when one of the walls of the house collapsed. Following the incident, Dusasana and his 8-year-old son Dusmanta were trapped inside the debris of the collapsed wall.

However, locals came to their rescue and shifted both of them to hospital.

As per sources, Dusmanta succumbed to his injuries at the hospital while Dusasana is under treatment.
