Vote for Satyajeet Jena: Touched CM appeals for singing sensation

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appealed people of Odisha to vote for the Odia singing sensation Satyajeet Jena, who is in the top 10 list in the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs on Zee TV.

Patnaik took to Twitter and asked the people of Odisha to vote for the child artiste. In his tweet, Patnaik wrote “I’ve been touched by the soulful voice and talent of Satyajeet on #SaReGaMaPaLiLChamps. Voted for him & wish him success.”

Satyajeet,a native of Anandapur in Keonjhar district, has impressed all the judges of the show and stolen the hearts of many through his soulful performances. His first performance of Neha and Tony Kakkar's hit song Mile Ho Tum Hum ko Bade Nasibon se..'' from Fever had the listeners including the judges bowled out. The video of Jena's rendition of the song touched an all time high of 2,882,711 views on YouTube and went viral on Facebook within a week.

In his last performance on Saturday, the 12-year-old boy enthralled the judges and the audience by performing Mohabbat Barsa De Na Tu Sawan Aya Hai, which is originally sung by Arijit Singh.
