VIMSAR doctors to get incentives up to Rs 2 lakh

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Tuesday decided to provide financial incentives ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh to doctors including professors and assistant professors working at VIMSAR, Burla.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the financial incentives for professors, associated and assistant professors working both at super specialty and broad specialty departments at VIMSAR.

The professors, associated professors and assistant professors working in super specialty departments will be entitled to get Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively.

Similarly, professors, associated and assistant professors working in broad specialty departments will get Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively.

According to official sources said the financial incentives will be similar to that is being provided to doctors at other medical colleges in Koraput-Bolangir-Kalahandi areas.
