Talking to OTV Pujahari said, "I had found only post graduate students in a particular department in the institute during a visit. I asked them about their consultant doctor and rang him up. He said he was at the market and would return soon. When he did not return for two hours I inquired about him and came to know that he is working at a diagnostic centre. I visited the place as a patient with mask on my face and asked at the registration for an urgent ultrasound. They denied me but I entered the clinic without informing anyone and found the doctor there. He recognised me and said will not repeat it in future."

Pujahari has urged the patients visiting VIMSAR not to fall prey to such doctors who advise them to visit private clinics or nursing homes. He further said that disciplinary committee members will take decision after hearing the version of the concerned doctor as everyone deserves justice.

The accused doctor, BB Panda said, "It was due to my misconception that I was unable to meet the Director on time and I regret for it. I have never disobeyed anyone but I understood that he had called me to meet him tomorrow. I assure that such mistake will not be repeated in future."
