Villagers thrash teacher for misbehaving with minor girl student

Bhadrak: A school teacher was today detained and beaten black and blue by the villagers of Chandbali in the district for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student of Class-VI.

As per reports, Assistant teacher Bhakta Bandhu Satpathy of Panchamukha upper primary school allegedly misbehaved with the minor girl student.

Following the incident, tension gripped the area as the villagers tied the teacher to a tree and beat him up.

On being informed, police reached the spot, rescued Satpathy and detained him for interrogation.
