Cuttack: The Vigilance department has applied for permission of the court to extend the remand of IPS officer Joydeep Nayak, who has been arrested in connection with a Rs 88 Lakh fraud, by two more days.

Joydeep was produced before the special vigilance court after his 3-day remand ended on Saturday.
