Vigilance raids on Khandapada PS chairperson

Bhubaneswar: Simultaneous raids are being conducted by Vigilance sleuths at 10 places, including eight in Bhubaneswar, related to Khandapada Panchayat Samiti chairperson Sisir Kumar Sahu on charges of amassing disproportionate assets on Wednesday.

Sources said the sleuths are undertaking searches at a three three-storey buildings owned by Sahu. Rs 4 lakh in cash, gold ornaments, bank deposits and some incriminating documents were seized during the raid.

Besides, the raids are also being conducted at Sahu’s Khandapada office and house.
