Vigilance raids Bhubaneswar RWSS cashier house

Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance Department on Thursday raided establishments of Pabitra Mohan Mohanty, cashier of rural water supply and sanitation (RWSS) division in Bhubaneswar, for possession of disproportionate assets.

"Mohanty is currently posted in Bhubaneswar. We are searching his rented house and office. His wife is a teacher at Nilachakra Nagar Nodal UP School. We will search her belongings at the school," said Prashant Kumar Dwivedi, DSP (vigilance), Puri.

Search is also on at his residence at Sanabasantpur in Nuagaon under Brahmagiri police limits in Puri, said Dwivedi.

A team of the anti-corruption unit has already raided Mohanty’s triple-storey building at Matiapada in the district.
