Vigilance raids assistant engineer’s house

Angul: Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids at five places, including the house, of Duburi left canal assistant engineer KK Tripathy, on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to sources, the anti-corruption wing of the Odisha Police is conducting raids at the residence of Tripathy located in the city. Besides, raids are also on at Pradhan’s in-laws' house at Banrapala and three other places.

The investigating agency has laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Tripathy during the raid, sources in the agency said

The raid was still on when reports last came in.
