Vehicles torched at Nayagarh Excise office premises

Nayagarh: Some unidentified miscreants torched three vehicles parked on premises of district Excise office late on Tuesday night.

According sources, the assailants set a bolero, a jeep and a bike on fire which were parked at the Excise office.

Being informed about the incident, fire official rushed to spot and douse the flame, sources added.

Though the exact reason behind incident is unknown, it is suspected that some liquor shop owners have torched the vehicles in a fit of anger following raids by the excise department on Tuesday, said an Excide official.
