Under trial prisoner dies at Malkangiri

Malkangiri: An under trial prisoner of Malkangiri sub jail died following cardiac arrest on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment at hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Goldar, a resident of MV-72.

According to sources, Goldar was rushed to Malkangiri district headquarters hospital in the morning today after he felt pain in his chest. However, he died after some time while undergoing treatment at the government-run hospital.

Notably, he was arrested by Kalimela police 15-day ago after his auto rickshaw carrying school children met an accident at MPV-126 ghat.
