Under-construction bridge caves in; narrow escape for 5 workers

Anandpur: Five workers have a narrow escape when an under-construction bridge at Raki in Purunaghati in Keonjhar district collapsed late last night.

After the bridge over a canal connecting Anandpur and Hadagada caved in the under-construction stage, the five workers nearby sustained minor injuries without any grievous casualties.

Meanwhile, tension erupted in the Raki area following the incident as locals allege poor construction work only has led to the bridge collapse.
