Rayagada: Two persons were killed when a four-wheeler hit the bike they were travelling near Kumariguda under Seshakhala police limits in Rayagada district this afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Madhu Bidika and Akash Bidika of Tadhama village under Rayagada block.
According to reports, Madhu and Akash were on the way to Rayagada town from Ladda when a speeding four wheeler collided head-on with their bike near Kamarpur killing them on the spot.
Vehicular traffic on Rayagada-Parbatipuram road was disrupted for over two hours due to road blockade by irate locals. However, the locals withdrew the blockade following the request by the police who rushed to the spot following information.
The bodies were later taken for post mortem.
