Bhubaneswar: The two women who were seen assaulting a man in a video that went viral on social media, today filed a complaint at the Mahila Police station here alleging that the man was ‘unfaithful’ and cheated them in a love affair. Earlier, the man moved the SDJM court on Tuesday over the matter.
In a written complaint, the two women alleged that despite being married, the youth, Kamal Agarwal, got involved with them in relationships and later ditched them.
Regarding the video showing the attack on Kamal, counsel of the young women said, “The duo was asking him why he cheated on them. But when he started using foul language, they thrashed him.”
The counsel, however, feigned ignorance about the youth who was recording the attack on Kamal.
On Tuesday, Kamal had knocked the doors of the SDJM court demanding justice. He had alleged the girls were threatening him and blackmailing along with their male friend who was recording the video of the assault.
