Two trains cancelled due to submerged tracks in Northern Frontier

Bhubaneswar: Two trains - Trivandrum- Guwahati Express and Puri-Guwahati Express have been cancelled on August 27 and 29 respectively due to heavy rains and water flowing on the tracks under Northern Frontier.

The railway tracks in these routes have been submerged, leading to disruption in the timings while routes of several trains have also been diverted.

12515 Trivandrum- Guwahati Express, scheduled to leave Trivandrum today is cancelled while Train No. 15639 Puri-Guwahati Express which was scheduled to leave Puri on August 29 has been cancelled, NFR said in a statement here today.

Meanwhile, due to operational reasons 58132 Puri-Rourkela Passenger has also been cancelled on August 28, sources said.
